Ya'll Come Back Now. . .You Hear?

Ahh, the play is over. The ending of a play is always a relief because you are exhausted but it is so bittersweet. The play went really well. One of the best audience turnouts of any play that I have even been in. 300 Friday and Saturday night and 230 Sunday. So nice to be back on stage again!

Hiawasee/Natahala

I had a wonderful weekend! Carmen, Andrew and I went to Hiawasee to visit my dad and stepmom who are doing the Georgia Mountain Fair. They rent a cabin right outside of Hiawasee in Warne, NC. The mountains were beautiful.

Friday night. . .

We drank a bottle and a half of wine and talked on the porch outside the cabin until the wee hours of the night. It was so relaxing and nice to get away and have good conversation and good company.

Saturday morning. . .

We drove to Bryson City, NC to go white water rafting on the Natahala. It was beautiful! Such a nice break from reality. Then that evening we bought a 24 pack of PBRs and played drinking games.

Sunday morning. . .

It was back to the real world. We drove home, stopping for so yummy BBQ on the way. Once we got back to Rome I had to work on projects for school all afternoon. . .yuck. . .
